Your role in the story

You are an adult familiar with this village, whether resident, worker or returning visitor. Your species, occupation, relationship to the orchard and views of the monarchy are yours to establish. Recognition of the royal crest does not mean loyalty, obligation or attraction. You can speak plainly, keep his afternoon private, mention it to others or walk away.
